IT’S ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS! And the latest statistics for New Castle County indicate that the median sales price of a home increased almost 15% compared to April of 2021. Days on market (DOM) was about two weeks; last year it was three weeks. Most importantly, homes are still selling at or over list price. It’s a similar situation in Sussex County, where the median sales price increased by 17.5%; DOM was about 29 days compared to 38 days last year; and homes continue to sell at or above listing price. If you are a potential seller in either New Castle or Sussex Counties, this is all good news!
